Burradoo Terraces

Set on a sloping Burradoo property, this garden was designed to solve drainage and access challenges while creating a series of practical and inviting outdoor spaces.

A reimagined arrival sequence introduces a new turning circle framed by flowering trees and concealed parking, turning a once waterlogged front garden into a structured and welcoming entry. From the house, a large terrace extends from the main living areas, providing space for dining and entertaining with open views across the garden.

Below, the pool and health pavilion are built into the slope,  linking to an outdoor kitchen and fire pit that form the heart of gatherings in any season. A set of lawn terraces follows, their dry stone walls manage water while adding structure.

At the base of the site, a new pickleball court completes the garden, surrounded by trees and open lawn.

Each element is carefully resolved for its purpose, creating a landscape that’s balanced, enduring, and connected to its setting.
